- Device identifiers or advertising IDs

2. Local Data Storage
All data you create within the app is stored locally on your device:
- Sightings Log: Birds you've recorded, with dates and optional location notes you manually enter
- Quiz Progress: Your quiz scores and learning progress
- Favorites: Birds you've marked as favorites
- App Preferences: Your settings and filter preferences
This data never leaves your device and is not synced to any cloud service or external server.
3. Offline Functionality
Bird Master: Aviary is designed to work completely offline. The app includes all bird species data, images, and audio files within the installation package. No internet connection is required to use any feature of the app.
4. No Third-Party Services
We do not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app does not communicate with external servers or services during normal operation.
5. App Permissions
Bird Master: Aviary requests minimal permissions:
- Storage: To save your sightings log and app data on your device
We do not request location, camera, microphone, or any other sensitive permissions.
6. Children's Privacy
Because we do not collect any personal information, Bird Master: Aviary is safe for users of all ages, including children under 13. Parents can allow their children to use the app without privacy concerns.
7. Data Security
Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data is protected by your device's security measures. We recommend using a device passcode or biometric lock to protect your device.
